Iroquois School Newspaper (updated 2015-16)

All Year:  Open to Grades 6-8
We put together the quarterly school newspaper (The Iroquois Arrow). It includes school news, opinion pieces, comics and surveys. Everyone is welcome as long as you are willing to follow through with the issue. 
  • No experience necessary - just a desire to put collaboratively work to produce an interesting and fun newspaper for your classmates. 
  • No need to commit to the whole year - we go issue by issue. 
The first meeting of Newspaper Club takes place Thurs, October 1st after school in Ms. Stanziano’s room, 249.  

All aspiring reporters, cartoonists, puzzlers, astrologers, photographers & writers are welcome to join the staff of The Iroquois Arrow. 

Meeting Place & Time: 

USUALLY in Ms. Stanziano's room (249) on Thursdays after school (3:35 - 4:15). 
Listen to or check online daily announcements for changes & updates! 
Newspaper staff also receives group email notices of meetings and due dates.

All Club Schedules & Transportation:
All club meetings are announced during daily morning announcementsMost (but not all) meet after school from 3:15-4:00. If you missed the morning announcement, please check online herecontact the club sponsor, or call the Main Office at 377-2233 for the most current information regarding meeting times and places. 

Late bus transportation (restricted to students enrolled in eligible clubs/activities) is currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 (2015-16 school year).
